Try to design a trap for kids that will tempt them to stay forever? Well, the Lotus Casino came up with an excellent trap, though I wouldn't believe it because 1) It's free -people want money these days. 2) The whole fact they don't ask about a guardian HELLO! These are kids, in a hotel, alone, and it's all free? That makes me feel dumb cause why would kids believe that?
ANYWAY... Here's the answer to your question, Mr. Davidson.
My trap would actually be a trap you'd believe in. And it would literally be a trap. There you'd have all kinds of ways to lure any kid. A trap that would include anything a kid can dream of.
It would be in a setting of a mall's section. This section would be parted off from the rest of the mall by a flight of stairs connected to the restroom hallway. In front if the staircase is a sign that says NATIONAL KID WEEK:UP THESE STAIRS, YOUR PARENTS HAVE PREPARED YOU A PARTY! COME ON UP! IMMEDIATELY. Now, some children will think that they should go to their parent(s) to tell them but, once the restroom doors are used, the floor is triggered to have your feet magnetically attached to the staircase, without the thought of your parents. With every step you take, the staircase is hypnotizing you and your mind to believe this is all true, that your parents have set this up.
Once you reach the top, you will see what you want to see. This is actually because of high up you are; your mind is affected by the thick amount of CO2. There would be no adults there and the kid would find a table of chips and soda, other children playing, gifts for the kid, video games, and amusement structures (inflatable rides, ball pits, mazes, etc.) The kid would of course open his/her gifts first. The gifts are filled with the kid has dreamed of, 3-DS's, iPods, free laptops, and all kinds of new stuff.
The trap is set up by time. The kids would go ahead and play around, but when they look at the clock, it would say 12:00, for example. Since the kid is having so much fun, they wouldn't think about time. When they look at the clock again, it will say 12:00, still. But, the CO2 is also affecting the child's mind again by making them think they are moving to fast but, it's actually 12:00 the next day! The parents won't worry at all because when they enter the bathroom to look for their kid, the cameras are set to identify the parent and when they see him/her, they know who that is and the vents will quickly expose a gas used to trick the parent. Therefore they will believe the "NATIONAL KID WEEK:UP THESE STAIRS, YOUR PARENTS HAVE PREPARED YOU A PARTY! COME ON UP! IMMEDIATELY.", sign. So they go on their way.
This is a pretty mean and complicated scheme. I wouldn't like it if it was true, but this is just an assignment.
